Welcome to Ares Wargames, the premier gaming store in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ares Wargames provides a unique, hybrid mix of gaming products in over 4,000 square feet of gaming heaven. We offer role playing games, strategy games, historical games, fantasy games and network computer games.



Our friendly and knowledgeable staff has over 125 years of gaming experience and will help you in finding anything you're in search of!

We stock all of the gaming staples such as:

If for whatever reason we don't have the item you're looking for we will happily order anything for you from our distributors!

We pride ourselves on our customer service and accuracy when it comes to special orders. For most orders you will see the item arrive no more than a week after the order was placed!

With our huge gaming space we welcome both novice and veteran gamers to come down and use the space! We will happily offer any help and advice to novice players and guide them in the right direction in order to meet their goals as all of us at the store were once in your shoes.

For those not interested in Card / Board / Miniature gaming we also offer Rental Xbox 360's, Playstation 3's and 8 Gaming PC's! 6 of the 8 gaming PC's utilize the "eyefinity" gaming technology which allows games to be viewed on 3 monitors! This will give you a whole new view on your favorite games! We stock many of the new games, however we will also allow users to bring in their own games to be played on our two 55in TV's.
